Please join us creatives from Ohio and around the nation to kick off 2021 with our Zine Launch celebration!!
Last year, OPAWL created/curated its first Zine, titled ‘QuaranZINE: Pandemic Stories,’ which features women and nonbinary/trans creatives of color and explores themes of pandemic, uprisings, and community building/advocacy. The evening will consist of readings and visual art displays, raffles, dancing, reflections, and much more. Mimi Lok, our featured speaker for the evening, is co-founder of Voice of Witness & author of Last of Her Name.
Ticket prices vary from $0-40 to cover event costs and raise funds supporting OPAWL’s mission.
This event is open to everyone! ASL Interpretation will be provided. This will be a virtual session with a dial-in option.
For additional accommodations or questions, please email Zine@opawl.org.
