Kaarawan Introductory Meeting
Join OPAWL’s Kaarawan caucus for an introductory meeting for interested members on April 2nd at 2:30pm EST!
The Kaarawan (kah-ah-rah-wahn) caucus group is intended to build a supportive network of fierce Pinays and Pinxys throughout the Buckeye State. Our hope is to build a robust and relational community aligned with progressive values, learn more about our unique cultural identity as Filipinos, and empower each other to become politically active.
For this first meeting, we will get to know each other and discuss the future direction for our caucus. Because this is the first space of its kind in Ohio, we would like to be intentional about co-creating our vision and working with you all to achieve it together. Furthermore, we have been collaborating with a Filipino Graphic Designer to create a logo for our caucus, and we will be revealing it for the first meeting! We hope that you will join us for this momentous day!
