Immigrant and refugee stories are as varied and diverse as our communities themselves, but most share a few common themes: safety, opportunity, and above all, family. Yet under the previous administration, we saw bedrock immigration programs – including family-based, employment-based, diversity visa lottery, and refugee resettlement programs – begin to crumble as a result of repeated attempts to stifle immigration and refugee admissions.
We need your help in the first 100 days of the new administration to restore and strengthen the immigration policies that have allowed many of our own families to come to the U.S. and continue their stories. Please join us for the following:
On Wednesday, March 10th at 12pm HST/2pm PST/4pm CST/5pm EST, the Value Our Families campaign will host a teach-in about family-based, employment-based, diversity visa programs and refugee resettlement programs and how legislative reform can advance these programs.
Come learn how you can support federal advocacy around these issues and get involved in upcoming mobilizations, including our Week of Action launching in three weeks. We are at a critical time to take advantage of the momentum of the first 100 days of the new administration and to fight for permanent solutions that keep families together.

Then, mark your calendars for the Value Our Families virtual Week of Action from Monday March 29th – Friday April 2nd, and meet with members of Congress to urge them to provide a path to citizenship for the 11 million undocumented folks, TPS holders and DACA recipients and pass the Reuniting Families Act.
